Fun Music Buddies began when Grace Hanson found herself having to teach piano to groups of 2-6 year olds for 50 minutes. The result was creativity explosion. 

Have you had a student who was not strong in counting or the alphabet, and using traditional methods of teaching ended in frustration and tears? 

The Fun Music Buddies method, engages the child in piano lessons by entering their world and interests using animals. RHYTHM BUDDIES BOOK helps young learners feel the beat without counting, but by saying what the animal would say. Each character represents a note value and children learn to keep the beat and read music by association so they never miss a beat.  PIANO NOTE BUDDIES BOOK teaches children to read music on the first lesson by encouraging them to visualize the note positioned on the music staff as an animal. The book consists of colorful visuals, a story and a song to reinforce the animals that are associated with the notes also showing it's correlation to the keys on the piano.

The foundational books of the violin curriculum, imagines musical notes as a picture which is especially helpful for students who are not strong in their alphabet.
